Redwing

The RedWing is an all-EPP electric flying wing designed and developed by Bill Groft from the SKSS club in Delaware. After trying several of the small wings on the market and being dissatisfied with performance, Bill spent most of a year experimenting with airfoils, planform and twist to develop the RedWing. Boy, did he succeed!

The RedWing is a 27-inch all-EPP wing that handles beautifully. Even for pilots that would not consider themselves fans of flying wings, this one will be the one that changes your mind. If you have flown other electric flying wings, you know about that silly wing stall thingy when you yank elevator. You wont see that on the RedWing, instead you will have nice rolls, nice inverted flight and generally great aerobatics. The GWS motor version is quite fast and rock solid. The plane slows down beautifully and could be flown indoors with ease. The original prototype weighs just 4.5 ounces with a GWS 5 amp speed control, GWS reciever and two 340mAh Lithium Poly cells.
